For those of you that will actually be watching the football game and not just the half-time show :-)

Auto Zone Liberty Bowl
UCF vs. Mississippi State

Admit it. You wanted to finally get a chance to see UCF's Kevin Smith, but you missed the Conference USA championship game because you were out shopping with the family. With 2,448 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns, he's a superstar player who's flying under the radar. He ran well against Texas, was held in check by South Florida, and now gets a chance to make a big final statement with a chance to break the single season D-I record, held by Barry Sanders, if he gets 181 yards. Mississippi State will be pumped up to be playing in a bowl game and will be sure to bring it maximum effort. Two motivated teams equals a good bowl game.
Stars of the show: 1) UCF RB Kevin Smith, 2) Mississippi State CB Derek

Playing catch-up today ... my mind has been elsewhere though it certainly seems that this is the 'hot' topic for the SP.

The number of searches I have seen for info on Taylor's Liberty Bowl appearances and especially the 'award' presentation at the President's Gala is incredible!
IMO the 'need to know' factor has taken precedence over more important focuses.
But as we have discussed before many have their own agendas.

I'm thrilled that Taylor will be performing on TV again and before a sold-out crowd at the Liberty Bowl. The fact that it is being carried by ESPN is icing on the cake!

The fact that Taylor was chosen as the headliner for the Bowl and this year's award recipient speaks for itself.

He is being recognized for what he has brought back to the music industry and what he has given back through his charitable
affiliations and community involvement.

I'm so proud and pleased as punch!

Karin I can't claim to be much of a football fan either ... I think the last game I actually watched was when my oldest son played for Ferris State.

I probably won't catch much of the game, I'll only be watching to make sure I don't miss half-time and I'll be checking the stands to see if I can spot Tina in the crowd ... lol it will be like finding a needle in a haystack!

Hey Teri welcome, it's always nice to have an Angel on board!
I appreciate your comments, I strive to keep my pond a place to remember the good times as well as anticipate the wonderful ride I expect us to have this next year.
And we do have a good time as well
:-), hope you'll continue to join us!

Hey Darlin' I'll be watching for you ... could you wear something special so I can find you among the sea of red!
How about lime green??
