Greatest Love Of All

Learning to love yourself, believing in yourself,
Is The Greatest Love Of All
The #1 take away message in Taylor Hicks' story
told in 'Heart Full of Soul', is Believe in Yourself!
The greatest gift you can give to your children is teaching them to love themselves, and allowing them to follow their dreams.

Believe in yourself.
Believe to your soul.
Be confident.

If you believe in yourself, anything that comes your way - good, bad, or really ugly - can't knock you too far off track.
Believing in yourself is the thing - sometimes the only thing - that will carry you through any situation.

It is amazing what you can achieve when you combine belief, hard work, dedication and hustle.
Belief may be the most important, because a show of self-belief causes others to believe in you.
~Taylor Hicks~

I created the following video, as an inspiration to all children, to dream big, believe in their dreams and follow them!
"Greatest Love Of All" ~ Whitney Houston

Some people believe that the most important thing to give a child is the best education money can buy.

An excellent education is important, but we must also set a good example, by sharing with them our sense of values and ethics, and encouraging their curiosity to learn and explore on their own.

What we leave IN our children is more important than what we give TO them.

Once we have given our children a solid foundation and the basic knowledge and tools they need, we need to let go and trust them to create their own lives, make their own mistakes, have their own successes, and follow their own destiny.

We need to let them blossom on their own.

Bloom, this is a great thought.

As you said, some people believe that giving a child the best education you can buy is the best thing that one can do. This is true but I think that the greatest gift we can give our children is one that costs us nothing - LOVE!

Raising children who believe in themselves, believe in their souls and have confidence in themselves is their birthright.

Society is so "confused" these days and some may think that the answers are monetary. Society has an obligation to protect the children from all kinds of harm - physical and emotional.

Some of today's parents were not given those gifts and they teach their children what they learned which is not always the best thing.

May tomorrow's HOPE have all of the traits you have quoted.

Your video reaffirms the innocence of the little ones. They are our most "precious" commodity.

Thanks, Bloom!

This lovely video is a reflection of your OWN sweet soul.
It is a busy day and I have a lot of work that I must do .. but you have reminded me that all we endeavor should be dedicated to the welfare of the young.

The real meaning of life
is NOT what we accomplish in any worldly sense but the number of people that we influence in a positive way.
The innocence of the young should be protected and cherished.
We live in a complicated and sometimes frightening world but the grace and beauty of a child makes striving for the light worthwhile.

Morning Karin, I couldn't agree more that society is 'confused' these days.

But maybe every generation feels that way about the next generation?

Today's parents seem to be more about themselves, not that I doubt that the children are loved, but children seem to be taking second place, especially when it comes to time.

I believe too much focus is put on the monetary things they give their children, and that the values the children are learning are coming from outside sources, not from their parents.

So it is up to all of us, the teachers, the coaches, the grandparents ... to make sure that today's children learn how to believe in themselves.

tiship ... good morning to you too ... it is nice to see you again!
Thank you for your very thoughtful comments, my grandchildren were my inspiration for this video and the message was not only to them but to their parents.
I'm still trying to teach them well!

Allyn, with a little help from a friend lol, your message is now here!
You are so insightful and I wanted to share your words here.

It seems we all agree ... it is the responsibilty of all of us to insure that the children have a bright future.

That they have the self-confidence to believe they can reach for the stars, and know that someone will always be there to catch them or to lend a helping hand if their reach isn't quite high enough.
